FAP490: Did You Know, a video by Karl Fisch

15 March 2007 1 views One Comment

Carl Fisch from Arapahoe High School has this fantastic video on YouTube of a slide show presentation about modern day statistics. It’s a real head-bender, especially the slide which states that if MySpace were a country, it’d be the world’s 11th largest.

It also makes you really think – if the United States wants to keep up in the world with higher education, we have a lot of fierce competition.

Hat tip to Julien Smith for sharing it.

Thanks for posting this. For many Web 2.0 users, this information has become part of the cultural ethos, but I now live in a pre y2k valley, and I’m going to have to resist the urge to show this to everyone I run into who hasn’t encountered the shift yet.
