I've never even heard of the SS requirements until just now. Which, is sadly too late (I'm 27). Was pondering going to college in the upcoming year or two to get my life in order, but looks like that will prove to be a bit more difficult of a task. Probably one of the reasons I didn't know was the fact I didn't get my licence until last year (26), and have been moving around since high-school. (Couch-surfing and just being a bum, honestly) And as for the post-office comment above; My current post office doesn't have any pamphlets on the matter, haven't noticed it either. Not as if I go to a post office other than to get in, mail, get out most times. Although, I suppose step one is to see what info they have and start proving ignorance :\ Damn.
