Financial Aid Administrators Stress NASFAA Recommendations At Senate Hearing

Financial aid administrators offered their takes on ways to improve the federal student loan system at a hearing in front of the Senate Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions (HELP) committee Thursday—many of which NASFAA advocates, too. Marian Dill, director of student financial aid at Tennessee’s Lee University, and Roberta L. Johnson, director of student financial aid at Iowa State University, testified on loans, counseling, default, and more during “Strengthening the Federal Student Loan Program for Borrowers.”
