Increase Financial Literacy Through Peer Counseling, Early Communication, Panelists Say

Institutions of higher education can address a dearth of financial literacy knowledge among their students on campus and those who are years away from enrolling, panelists said Tuesday at an event in Washington, D.C. “Money Matters on Campus,” a new financial literacy report by Higher One and EverFi, was unveiled at an event by the same name, where college, association, and government representatives discussed survey results and best practices for increasing financial knowledge.
